Personality: Red is an all around sweet horse. An easier going disposition is hard to find, which was probably why he bonded with Cooper in the first place. He was new to the stable and Cooper had just arrived to his grandparents in the form of a troubled preteen boy. They instantly connected and Cooper has never thought anything out of the ordinary about it. Also, Red's gentle nature probably attributes to his ability to heal.
History (if known):Cooper's grandparents bought Red as a school horse. He was gentle, even if he was of an unknown breed, of an unknown age, and of an unknown past. Red was exactly the cheap, easy going horse they needed. They had never expected Cooper to bond with him or for him to have actual talent but they had no problem turning ownership of the gelding over to their grandson. Red and Cooper excelled in the show ring until one fateful competition where Cooper was temporarily paralyzed. Red was mysteriously unharmed and while the doctors thought Cooper's paralysis to be permanent, he healed. Everyone just assumed it was a miracle.
