PERSONALITY •
Mona is your typical badass-don’t-give-a-nuts seventeen year old girl. Especially in school she can be very moody and will often just sit there sulking and looking at the floor, if she isn’t in the principal’s office of suspended. She doesn’t intentionally get into trouble with her teachers but if they treat her rudely or say something that is clearly wrong she will tell them so. Most of them never like her opinions about anything and government class is pretty much hell on earth because she knows what she believes and she isn’t afraid to say so. Besides government class, she never really pays attention to any school work though.
School is a minor part of her life. Her social life and everything out of school is what really matters in the end. Her social life usually consists of partying. Even though only seventeen, she loves her some fruity alcoholic drink, not to mention beer. She has a fake ID but when that fails she usually tries to get one of the older guys to get her a drink, with a reward of course.
When not partying or drinking, Mona will occasionally be working to make some money. None of the people who hire her usually call her back though, so most of her free time is spent down by the creek with her horse. She usually prefers to be alone when with her horse by the river because she knows her love for the water and its creatures would weird others out and how the hell would she get into parties if all the guys thought she would drown them if she thought their thingy’s were too small?
Partier, hot head, and rebellious, Mona loves a good drink and her casual friends.

HISTORY •
Mona Lynn Reed was born to Jeanie, an author, and Craig Reed, a small-time business man. She grew up the youngest child, sister to brother who was four years older than her. Mona acted fairly normal for a little kid, if not a bit of a mouther, until she reached middle school. In middle school she discovered the “bad kids”, as the teachers referred to them, and was delighted to find that she fit right in. Together with her buds in seventh grade she discovered smoking, weed, alcohol, and sex.
Mona was suspended for the first time later seventh grade for flooding the first floor of the school and rendering the entire school useless for an entire week while they cleaned up and repaired the pipes. Her parents dismissed it as typical youngest child syndrome, slapped her on the hand, and sent her back a month later.
Ninth grade she lost her virginity to some stupid boy whom she later punched in the face, and got suspended for again, because she no longer liked him. Losing it was a statement, a symbol of her “rebellious nature” and nothing more. She laughed at the girls who thought they couldn’t live without their boyfriends and she hated close relationships with anyone, and regarded friends as merely temporary fun. Tenth grade she burned down the gymnasium to the school and that was when her parents moved her to the town they now lived in.
Eleventh grade she received a horse from her parents, desperate as they were to try and get her to calm down a little and become more in tune with her emotional side after she got suspended for a week from her new school for skipping to go drinking with some college friends. At first she hated him. She didn’t want a horse; she didn’t even like any animals unless they lived in the water. Gradually, by the time she hit her senior year, she loved him. However, it did far from quench her rebellious side and now she was not only rebellious but had a horse to get into trouble with.
Her parents since gave up trying to control her and are just counting down the days until they no longer have to be responsible for her.

ROLEPLAY SAMPLE •
Mona sat in the long grass by the brook, listening to the water and her horse munch on the grass a couple feet away. A bird was chirping in a tree a couple of yards away and she lazily wondered what would happen if she shot it with a shotgun. From the size of it she was willing to bet that except for a few feathers, it would be completely blown to bits.
She rolled over on her stomach and grabbed a blade of grass, chewing on the soft end, reflecting about her day tomorrow. Particularly the hour before school started. She had plans, yes; big plans. She and a few of her friends had found a way onto the school roof earlier in the week using a broken gutter and had decided to hone their graffiti skills on the chimney and roof.
Lazily, she stood up and whistled at her horse. It flicked an ear but otherwise kept on grazing.
“Come on, you lazy bum.” She chided him good humouredly, not really in a hurry. She was happy today and the sun was shining. There was no trace of the rainclouds that there had been earlier that day when one of the stupid college boys had been giving her a hard time about something. She had just wanted her d**n drink and of course he had made it complicated.
It was sorted out now though and Mona was relaxed, enjoying the breeze and she slowly headed back toward the town.
